This photograph of the Lee Bridge Tavern was taken not long after the pub had been erected and opened for trading. The attractive red-brick and terracotta building was erected for Mitchell's and Butler's, construction work beginning in 1919. I have outlined some of the pub's history on a separate page - check it out if you wish to know more about this pub. PLEASE NOTE : Although this photograph is from an official M&B publication, it is a printed image rather than a RP or real photo. I have not encountered a crisp photograph of the Lee Bridge Tavern from this period.
