Five women are swinging a leg in the swinging 60s during this photo shoot at Blackpool. The famous tower formed a backdrop to an image encapsulating the spirit of the times. My fashion correspondent says : "This fabulous photograph shows a group of models wearing the many styles worn in the 60s ranging from a simple button-through blouse with trousers, a brocade coat, diamond check coat with close-fitting hat, Empire-line pinafore dress with detail, and finally a knee-length trouser suit. Black tights and low-heeled or flat footwear complete the look, all of which would be suitable for a theatre visit, a day at the races or even a wedding."
